Initially sailing single-handed on a Bavaria 40 sailboat in the Atlantic. Based in La Rochelle, France. Sold the Bavaria in early 2021, and bought a Bongo 8.70 meter (28 foot) made in France in 2009 (much smaller and faster than the Bavaria, but also, much less comfortable). After a circuit of the Atlantic during the Spring/Summer of 2022, I sold the Bongo and bought a new RM 890+. Adventures in the North Atlantic will continue.

Love The No-Nonsense Videos
Patrick is all about the sailing and nothing else. Well, maybe a word or two about a good Chateau Neuf du Pape! Sometimes it might be nice to see a minute or two at a destination that he visits, but I do love the sailing wisdom he imparts.

Patrick is out on his own showing that it can be done. he thinks nothing of a massive passage for a trip out that would be more than most peoples miles in a good few years. He offers some instruction without talking down to you but as his channel is about the actual passage there is very minimal maintenance or shots ashore.
I would love to buy him a chateaux nerf de pape if i ever meet him.
